When to Visit China

Beijing China - ChinaTourist.orgAny good China vacation plan begins with figuring out when the best time to visit China is. Today, I hope to help you conquer that step.

The “best” time to visit China really depends on you, the tourist. Are you concerned primarily with weather conditions, with tourist crowds or with festivals and activities?

The summer time in China is when most tourists venture into the country—despite hot temperatures. If you’re panning on a summer vacation in China, it’s recommended that you book your travel plans several months in advance.

While it might sound like fun to visit during Chinese New Year, it can be a tough time. Most of the country basically shuts down and the Chinese tend to travel. Bookings are tough.
